Meet Kendal
Kendal White | Akontli
Kendal is a California native and grew up in a bilingual family with Colombian and European ancestry. She is passionate about living a holistic, well-balanced life and is often called a Renaissance Woman for her interdisciplinary approach, seamlessly weaving complementary modalities together. With a diverse skill set, she serves and supports her clients and community in impactful ways—whether through residential real estate, musical offerings, or facilitating transformational experiences.
Kendal received her Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara in Global studies with an emphasis on Latin America and Spanish. This focus opened the door to working and studying with various healing traditions of the Amazon and Indigenous communities. Her experiences with these communities have profoundly shaped her approach to life, cultivating greater intentionality, presence, and awareness.
Rooted in her studies of lineage based traditions, Kendal values the wisdom that has been passed down and shared by her teachers. Her devotion and discipline began at a young age with martial arts, earning her black belt in Karate. Her passion for health and wellness led her to become a certified teacher in Hatha Yoga, AcroYoga (partner yoga and acrobatics), and Reiki II Practitioner. She is also a teacher of Taoist Feminine Arts from the Shakti Temple Arts school.
Kendal holds her Mexica name Akontli, which means container of water and life, within the Moon Dance Tradition. This name reflects Kendal’s dedication to creating sacred spaces and guiding others through life’s significant transitions, whether in the physical space of a home or within the inner landscape of the soul. Kendal is deeply grateful for the teachers and elders who have guided her on her path of remembrance.
